Aftercare

The First Day

I exclusively use high-quality aftercare bandages such as Saniderm or Recovery Derm to insure my work and prevent infection. If you have latex or other allergies please let me know and other products can be used for you.

The first bandage is to be left on for a minimum of 24 hours. After 24 hours it should be taken off in a warm shower and gently rinsed off with warm soapy water to remove any excess plasma.

If desired you can apply a second piece to dry skin with clean hands. This second piece can be left on for 3-5 days as long as no irritation occurs.

Healing Process

After the covering is removed you will want to wash off any extra plasma you see building up. This isn't an uncommon occurrence and often times extremely common in certain areas of the body or if specific technics were used during the procedure. Plasma may continue to leak for 2-4 days, just make sure to wash it with clean hands anytime you notice it building up.

Unscented lotion or Aquafor is recommended after washing and when in dry environments. Only a very small amount is needed, any access should be blotted off with a paper towel. Cloth towels are not recommended.

You should avoid direct sunlight during the healing process as well as submerging the tattoo in any water. Any complications caused during the healing process may void your one free touch-up.
